IMOS 2022 Shows New Motorcycles for Indonesian Automotive Market

VIVA – The Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) 2022 automotive exhibition will be held tomorrow, November 2, 2022, for five consecutive days at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan.
This exhibition is predicted to be a golden opportunity for motorcycle manufacturers to launch new products. In fact, this event will also feature electric motor technology that will be introduced to exhibition visitors.
It is known, IMOS 2022 will present 25 Brand Holder Agents of Motorcycles and 14 brands of electric motorcycle manufacturers. Some of them will provide attractive programs and promos for exhibition visitors.
In this exhibition, two-wheeled vehicles will present such as Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Benelli, Husqvarna, Italjet, Keeway, KTM, Royal Alloy, and Royal Enfield. For electric motorcycle manufacturers, special brands such as Davigo, Energica, ION Mobility, NIU, and Polytron are also enlivened.

Some of these manufacturers will launch new products for the Indonesian automotive market. Types of electric, automatic, and sports motorbikes will be exhibited at IMOS 2022.
The first product is Yamaha with the E01 model, an electric motorcycle that has just undergone tests in the Indonesian market. This environmentally friendly vehicle uses a lithium-ion battery. So, it does not emit an engine roar.
Besides that, Yamaha is also expected to launch the latest XMAX model which is very likely to be sold in the Indonesian market. XMAX is known to have minimal updates since launching in 2017.
For the next brand, PT Astra Honda Motor will present the concept of an electric motorcycle at the exhibition. The Japanese company is also expected to return to display the Honda Monkey, the best-selling scooter Vario 125.
They are said to be displaying the Honda U-Go electric motorcycle after the patent for this electric motorcycle appeared in the information system of the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) with registration number A00202102364.
In addition to Yamaha and Honda, other brands such as Kawasaki are expected to showcase the Ninja ZX-25R in 2023 and the Kawasaki ZX-25RR at IMOS 2022. Besides increasing variants, the 250cc sport bike with a 4-cylinder heart is also equipped with new features.
Furthermore, there will be Suzuki which comes with a new product, the V-Strom SX 250 which has previously been launched in India. It was revealed through the official Instagram account @suzukiindonesiamotor which featured a teaser of the new motorbike in an adventure style that will be presented at this exhibition.
