Ismail Sabri said the dissolution was carried out simultaneously to ensure that the people were not burdened other than for the smooth running of the democratic process and to save costs.

Meanwhile, the determination of the nominees and voting days and other related matters are subject to the decisions of Suruhjaya Choice Raya (SPR) or the Malaysian General Elections Commission (KPU).

“Invited, selected, chosen one by one. With this announcement, the trust will be returned to the people. And the people are a powerful antidote for the state to achieve political stability and create a strong, stable, and respected government after the 15th PRU,” Ismail Sabri said.

The process is based on a parliamentary democracy system and institutional monarchy as the anchor of government since the independence of the country. The dissolution of the House of Representatives was carried out to muffle the voices that had been worrying the government.

"Last words, with full confidence, hope, and trust, I pray that all Malaysian families and the country will always be blessed with blessings. May our hearts be preserved to continue to support this grand agenda of achieving prosperity and progress for our beloved Malaysia," Ismail Sabri remarked after announcing the dissolution of Parliament 14.
