Vietnam Open 2022: 11 Indonesian Representatives in Second Round

VIVA – In the Super 100 Level Badminton tournament, Vietnam Open 2022 in Ho Chi Minh on September 29, 2022, 11 Indonesian representatives will play in the second round and show their struggle to advance for the next round.
Of the 11 representatives, eight of them automatically advanced to the round of 16 after benefiting from getting a bye in the first round.
Meanwhile, the other three representatives are entitled to continue the struggle in Vietnam after defeat their respective opponents in the first-round match on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
One is from women's singles, Ruselli Hartawan. She managed to defeat Guyu Iwasaki with a score of 21-16, and 21-15.
According to BWF records, the women's doubles Dhea Bunga Anjani/Fuyu Iwasaki beat the hosts Thi Phuong Hong Dinh/Pham Thi Khanh 22-20, and 21-12.
Then, Wahyu Nayaka Arya/Hardianto men's doubles advanced to the next round because of a walkover victory over their opponents Minh Bao/Bao Duc Duong from Vietnam.
The other eight representatives will only act in the round of 16. They are from men's doubles Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh. Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, from mixed doubles Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati, Zachariah Josiahno Sumanti/Hediana Julimarbela, Moh. Reza Pahlevi Isfahani/Melati Daeva Oktavianti, and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja
Furthermore, there are also new women's doubles pairs, namely Nita Violina Marwah/Tryola Nadia and Ribka Sugiarto/Lanny tria Mayasari, and Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi.
The women's doubles, Dhea Bunga Anjani/Fuyu Iwasaki, have already qualified for the quarter-finals without having to compete in the second round after their Indian opponent withdrew from the match.
