Get to Know the Second Amazing Water Source in the World

VIVA – Many people know that Zamzam water is an amazing water source in the world. However, it turns out that not only Zamzam water. There is the second amazing water source in the world, exactly in Mojokerto, East Java.
The water comes from Jolotundo. Jolotundo is located on the slopes of Mount Penanggungan with a length of 16.85 meters, a width of 13.52 meters, and a depth of 5.20 meters. Jolotundo was made of andesite stone which was carved very smooth.
As quoted from the Timesindonesia page, the water quality here become the second best in the world after Zamzam water in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. This is based on the research of a Dutch archaeologist in 1991. In this discovery, they tested the water quality at the Jolotundo water source.
This research has even been recognized and carried out three times, namely in 1985 by BP3 Trowulan, 1991 by Dutch archaeologists, and 1994 by the central IDI.
The results of this discovery explained, this Jolotundo water source managed to rank second in the world after the presence of Zamzam water. The study also explains mineral water content of the Jolotundo Lightning site is very high.
In addition, the water in Jolotundo is known to have never experienced a drought. This water is also believed can make people ageless and also cure diseases.
The name of water sources, namely Jolotundo is not just any naming. The name has a meaning. Jolotundo comes from the words "Jala" and "Tundo".
Jala means water and Tundo means level. Levels here mean delay or tiered. When the two words are combined their meaning becomes water arranged in stages.
Many visitors come here just to soak and take water which is believed to have many benefits. Interestingly, this water source in Jolotundo can be brought home by visitors.
Uniquely, Jolutundo is a temple that was built as a place of meditation for King Udayana as well as a form of gratitude for the birth of his son Airlangga in 899 Saka.
This temple is also a heritage building of King Udayana from Bali dedicated to King Airlangga after being crowned King of Sumedang Kahuripan.
