Formula One Schedules 24 Races in 2023 Season Calendar

VIVA – Formula One has released a calendar schedule for the 2023 season and scheduled 24 races to maintain the F1 Monaco Grand Prix, which had been threatened to be eliminated from the race cycle.
The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile or the FIA ??has agreed to season in next year's calendar and will feature its Las Vegas debut with the night race as the final series for the November season, which will be the third race to be held in the United States next season.
Bahrain will be the series opener on March 5, 2023, while Abu Dhabi will continue to hold the honor as the series closing season on November 26, 2023.
Qatar is back on the calendar occupying the slot on October 8. The Middle Eastern country will not hold an F1 race this year because it is preparing to host the World Cup.
China is also back on the calendar despite the impact of COVID-19 restrictions in the country.
On May 28, 2023, the eighth series and as part of the triple-header between Imola and Barcelona will take place on the highway circuit in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Meanwhile, Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France will not be part of next season's calendar as previously announced.
"The presence of 24 races on the 2023 FIA F1 World Championship calendar is further testament to the growth and appeal of this sport on a global scale," President of FIA, Mohammed Ben Sulayem said through the F1 website.
In addition of a new arena and the preservation of some old circuits, according to Ben Sulayem.
