VIVA – In the world from various countries, many athletes are created because of their abilities in the fields of their interest. Not long ago, one of the world's tennis athletes, Roger Federer decided to retire. Then many people are asking, who is the most dominant and surviving athlete since 2000?
GiveMeSport cites an article that White Wolf Sports wrote in 2018 in analyzing the most dominant athletes in their achievements. But GiveMeSport includes a few names that didn't make the list four years ago.
A most dominant athlete since 2000
Coming in at number 20, it's Kobe Bryant. 'The Black Mamba' with Shaquille O'Neal won three consecutive NBA titles from 2000 to 2002 and is an 11-time NBA First Team All-Star.
At number 19 is another former NBA player, namely Tim Duncan. The five-time NBA winner is a force to be reckoned with both offensively and defensively in his midfield career.
In 18th place, GiveMeSport picked Serbian Novak Djokovic, who has become the most influential athlete in recent years after winning many major titles.
Next, GiveMeSport decided to combine the rankings of 16 and 15 because both are from the same sport, where they are the greatest footballers ever, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo respectively.
Then, for numbers 14 to 11, there are Jimmie Johnson (NASCAR), Mike Trout (baseball), Peyton Manning (NFL), and Albert Pujols (baseball).
Entering the top 10, at numbers 10 to 6 there are Rafael Nadal (tennis), LeBron James (NBA), Barry Bonds (baseball), Serena Williams (tennis), and Usain Bolt (athletics).
After that, in the top five positions, GiveMeSport entered the name of Roger Federer. He has the most Wimbledon titles with eight titles and has spent a record 237 weeks as world number one.
Floyd 'Money' Mayweather enters the list at number four for his career achievements of 50 wins without defeat, including title wins in five different heavyweights.
Tiger Woods came in as number three and won multiple Masters, US Open, Open Championship, and PGA Championships.
Entering second, there is swimmer Michael Phelps who has won an astonishing 23 gold medals at the Olympics. Although, he was surprisingly not included in the list of the most dominant athlete’s version of ESPN.
At number one and sitting at the very top is Tom Brady of the NFL. The United States' favorite sports quarterback has won seven Super Bowls in his two spells with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
