Living in the Kingdom, the Queen hates some foods and even hates to eat one of the food materials that people commonly use to add flavor to food. The Queen also forbade the presence of this food in Buckingham Palace.

A few years ago, former royal chef Darren McGrady revealed that the Queen hates garlic. The Queen is also not a big fan of onions or rare meats.

"We can never serve anything with garlic or too much onion," McGrady said at the time quoted from the Eat This page.

"We also can't serve rare meat, because the Queen prefers it cooked," McGrady added.

It is confirmed by another former chef who works for The Royal Family, John Higgins. He said that the Queen does not like garlic.

"The Queen is an amazing woman, the royal family is amazing people, but they're missing garlic because at Buckingham Palace you don't cook with garlic," John Higgins told The National Post.

According to McGrady, Queen Elizabeth II loves seasonal food.

"You could send strawberries every day to The Queen during the summer at Balmoral and she would never say a word," he explained.

In addition to seasonal food, The Queen is also known to love sweet food. She often enjoys chocolate biscuit.
