Dubai Presents Space Tourism, Builds Moon Replica Resort

VIVA – The second largest city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Dubai, never ends to amaze the tourists. Famous for its beauty and luxury, Dubai will also present space tourism by building a moon replica resorts.
According to Arabian Business, Canadian architectural firm Moon World Resorts (MWR) has proposed building a resort to offer guests affordable space travel on Earth.
As quoted from NDTV on Monday, September 12, 2022, the ultra-luxury hotel that will be a replica of the Moon's surface is designed to be built in the next 48 months and will have an overall height of 735 feet.
The architectural firm believes that Moon Dubai will augment the emirate's economy in sectors such as hospitality, entertainment, attractions, education, technology, environment, and space tourism.
"Moon Dubai will be the largest and most successful modern tourism project in the entire MENA region, doubling annual tourism visits to Dubai based on global appeal, brand awareness, and unique integrated offerings," The founder of Moon World Resorts, Sandra G Matthews and Michael Henderson remarked.
This Moon-shaped resort can comfortably accommodate ten million visitors. Guests visiting luxury resorts can take advantage of facilities such as spas and wellness, nightclubs, event centers, global meeting places, lounges, and space tourism in the hotel.
The hotel will accommodate training platforms for the various space agencies and their respective astronauts as well. As each the outlet, the Canadian architecture firm is also planning to include Sky Villas, which will be known as a private place on the moon.
“About 300 units will be available for purchase, with sky villa owners becoming members of Moon's exclusive private members' club,” Michael G. Henderson remarked.
According to The National, the Moon resort will cost US$5 billion or Rp74.230 trillion to build, with projected annual revenue of US$1.8 billion or Rp26.722 trillion.
As of now, the company is working on obtain a license and planning a road show to promote the Moon to potential clients. After this, the company will enter a one-year pre-development program, followed by a four-year development program.
In addition, MWR is expected to license four lunar destination resorts worldwide, one in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa and Asia.
