VIVA – The prestigious Japan Open 2022 match ended Sunday, on September 4, 2022. The tournament has taken place at the Maruzen Intec Arena, Osaka. It was known, that five final matches took place.
First, the match started in the women's doubles sector bringing together fellow of South Korean representatives. Jeong Na Eun/Kim Hye Jeong managed to beat Baek Ha Na/Lee Yu Lim.
This match was fierce and spent 1 hour 34 minutes. Jeong Na Eun/Kim Hye Jeong won 23-21 in the first half, and in the second half won 28-26 points. This result made Jeong/Kim for the first time managed to become the Japan Open champions and continue their good results when they won the Korea Open 2022.
Second, the new Japan Open 2022 champion also be in the mixed doubles sector. Representatives of Thailand, Dechapol Puavaranukroh / Sapsiree Taerattanachai managed to become the winner after defeating representatives of the host of Japan, Yuta Watanabe / Arisa Higashino.

Meanwhile, the representative of Japan, Kenta Nishimoto, managed to beat the representative of Taiwan, Chou Tien Chen with a rubber game victory. The battle was fierce until finally, Kenta Nishimoto managed to become the champion with points 21-19, 21-23, and 21-17.
After that, the representative of Japan, Akane Yamaguchi, also played in the final of the Japan Open 2022. Akane managed to beat the representative of South Korea, An Se Young.
Akane Yamaguchi won two straight games with a score of 21-9 and 21-15. With this victory, Akane is able to defend the title that she had won at the Japan Open 2019.
