Seven Countries with the Longest Maternity Leave in the World

VIVA – Maternity leave is granted to workers who have just given birth to a condition and gives them time to care for the baby. The length of time, usually measured in weeks, as in Indonesia is given as three months.
During maternity leave, some employees are paid and some are not. Around the world, minimum maternity leave guidelines are often set by law, as well as by the company where the employee works.
So, here are some countries with the longest maternity leave in the world.
1. China
China's Shaanxi Province is seeking to increase the duration of maternity leave to almost a full year. Currently, maternity and maternity leave in the city is more than 168 days.

5. England
The country that’s led by Queen Elizabeth II, provides maternity leave for pregnant women for 52 weeks or a full year. With the length of leave obtained, it is hoped that they will be able to make the best use of their maternity leave. However, the salary has not been fully activated.
6. Germany
One of the countries in Europe that has the longest maternity leave in Germany. In these countries, pregnant women have the right to leave until the child is one year old. At week 14, it will be given a full salary, not only the salary that the mother will receive a special allowance. The purpose of the allowance is to meet the needs of the mother and her baby.
7. Bulgaria
Bulgaria gives pregnant women 14.5 months of maternity leave. Just like other countries, Bulgaria also provides full salaries for its employees.
