VIVA – Usually, the city consists of thousands to hundreds of millions of people. However, this is different with these cities, which are only inhabited by one person. Therefore, these cities are called the most lonely cities in the world.

Because of various reasons such as places in this city are often hit by natural disasters and can also be very dangerous if inhabited by many people.

Well, here are the most lonely cities in the world with only one person.

The Jordan River in Canada has a very beautiful scenery. Unfortunately, this city is near the Jordan River and usually experiences disasters such as earthquakes and floods. As a result, many people left the city.

Monowi in Nebraska, United States is only inhabited by Elsie Eiler. Before that, the small town had a population of two people, namely Eiler's husband, Rudy. However, Rudy is known to have died since 2004.

4. Buford, Wyoming

The city of Tamioka in Japan is known as a lonely city due to the earthquake and tsunami in 2011. Because of this natural disaster, the nuclear power plant in the vicinity of the city was destroyed and resulted in high levels of nuclear contamination, forcing the evacuation of hundreds of people.

Naoto Matsumura is the only person inhabiting the city. He lived without running water or electricity. He’s known to have fled with thousands of others. However, he returned to tend the land, the abandoned animals, and the local cemetery.
