5 Countries Known to Have Many Shamans, Indonesia Not Included

VIVA – The ability of progress globalization and technology does not make supernatural abilities fade. The shaman or local people known as Dukun is someone where people ask for wealth in a mystical way.
Shamans have advantages in terms of supernatural abilities, shamans can also communicate with supernatural beings.
Not only for bad intentions, shamans are also asked to help get rid of diseases, magical disorders, lost goods, block rain and others.
Indonesia has long been famous for shamans. Shamans in Indonesia are known for their supernatural powers. But it turns out, Indonesia is not included in the following list of countries known as shamans.
1. India
From 2008 to 2013, there were 700 women who were murdered related to the practice of black magic. They use this knowledge to steal various items.
In 2014, a boy was mutilated and sacrificed in a witchcraft ceremony. It was done because the father believed the death of his son could make his wife pregnant.
2. Cameroon
Cameroonian citizens were shocked by the case of a 16-year-old woman who aborted her womb by drinking liquids. The liquid was allegedly given by a shaman.
Since then, citizens seem to pay attention to intolerance towards people who practice shamans because they are harmful.
3. Zambia
In 2009, at least 1000 people were kidnapped and unlocked in secret locations. There they are made by shamans to drink a dangerous liquid that causes hallucinations. At least two people died as a result of this practice.
4. South Africa
The practice of witchcraft and spirits that occur on the African continent. In South Africa, people who succeed in the practice are punished by being burned alive.
5. Nepal
Nepal is known for its many shamans and witchcraft. Therefore, there are many practices of witch hunting.
The Nepalese government has given a warning not to believe in Shamans anymore. But still, belief in this seems to have become a culture.
