2022 President's Cup Semifinal Schedule: there are Two Matches

VIVA – Schedule of Semifinal 2022 President Cup will start today on Thursday, July 7, 2022. There will be two matches, as follows PSIS Semarang will face Arema FC and PSS Sleman will play against Borneo FC.

PSIS Semarang vs Arema FC in the first leg match. As scheduled, the match between the two teams will take place at PSIS headquarter, Jatidiri Stadium, Semarang at 4 pm.

Previously, PSIS also played at the same stadium when they beat Bhayangkara FC in the quarter-finals on penalties 9-8, following a 1-1 draw in normal time on Sunday, July 3, 2022.

Meanwhile, Arema FC first confirmed their place in the quarter-finals after defeating Barito Putera at Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Singo Edan's victory was also determined on a 5-4 penalty shoot-out after both teams played in a goalless draw.

Another semifinal match, PSS Sleman vs Borneo FC will start at around at 8.30 pm. The first leg match will take place at the Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Yogyakarta, the headquarter of PSS.

PSS Sleman managed to reach the semifinals after eliminating Persib Bandung on penalties 4-2 following the 1-1 draw which took place at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung on Friday, July 1, 2022.

Then, Borneo FC became the only semifinalist of the 2022 President's Cup to win in normal time. The team nicknamed Pesut Etam defeated PSM Makassar with a score of 2-1 on Sunday on July 3, 2022.

As information, the 2022 President's Cup semi final will be played in two legs. The next leg is scheduled to take place on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Arema FC headquarters, Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang and Segiri Stadium, Samarinda.

The winners of those two matches will meet in the final of the 2022 President's Cup.
