Jalan Pasupati is a project built by the government for the public interest. The contractors for this project are PT Wijaya Karya (Persero), PT Waskita Karya (Persero) and CGC from Kuwait.
One of the objectives of the construction of this bridge is to increase the capacity of traffic facilities from west to east and vice versa due to the high volume of traffic vehicles causing congestion, especially on Wastu Kencana street and Siliwangi street.
