Elon Musk Accepted Jokowi's Invitation to Visit Indonesia

VIVA – The founder of SpaceX and also the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, answered President Joko Widodo's invitation to come to Indonesia in November 2022.
"Hopefully in November, thank you for the invitation," said Musk after meeting with President Jokowi at SpaceX, Boca Chica, United States, Saturday local time, quoted from an official statement from the Presidential Secretariat on Sunday 15 May 2022.
President Jokowi, during his visit to SpaceX, also invited Elon Musk to come to Indonesia.
"I think he is very interested in coming to Indonesia immediately and I have told him to come to Indonesia," said President Jokowi.
On that occasion, the President also reviewed the production facilities at SpaceX. Elon Musk explained that he was very interested in the future of Indonesia. Indonesia looks very optimistic about the future, and has positive energy.
"I think Indonesia has great potential, and I think we through Tesla and SpaceX will try some collaborations with Indonesia," said Elon.
He also expressed his interest in collaborating with Indonesia considering that Indonesia has potential in many fields.
"We will see closely the form of cooperation in many ways, because Indonesia has a lot of potential. Moreover, Indonesia has a large population and continues to grow. This is good because we need a lot of people in the future," said Elon.
After about an hour in Space X, President Jokowi left the rocket production area.
Also accompanying President Jokowi were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno and Indonesian Ambassador to the US Rosan Roeslani. (ant)
