Anindya Bakrie Attends the UK-Indonesia EV Forum 2022

VIVA – Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry or locally known as KADIN Indonesia, Anindya Bakrie attends the UK-Indonesia EV Forum 2022 in London, United Kingdom, England. Anindya Bakrie also emphasized the commitment of the business world to accelerate the clean energy use in Indonesia.
On that occasion, an agreement or MoU was also made between PT Transjakarta and Switch Mobility, MRT Jakarta and Crossrail International.
Anindya attended the forum after he got an invitation from the Indonesian Ambassador to the UK, Ireland and IMO, Desra Percaya. This forum was also attended by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.
"At this amazing event, Governor @dkijakarta @aniesbaswedan, Member of Parliament and envoy of the Prime Minister for trade Richard Graham, Chair of UK-ASEAN Business Council Baroness Neville-Rolfe, and others," explained Anindya through her Instagram post on Friday, May 13, 2022.
The forum was initiated by the Global Indonesian Professionals Association, led by Steven Marcelino. Where the forum holds to bring together leading thinkers, business leaders, academics, and professionals in various industrial fields.
In addition, the meeting discussed breakthroughs and challenges in accelerating sustainable mobility and the electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure ecosystem. As well as collaborating in terms of electric vehicle batteries and investments. Both in the UK and Indonesia.
"Alhamdulillah, on that occasion an MoU was also signed between @pt_transjakarta and Switch Mobility and @mrtjkt with Crossrail International," Anindya Bakrie explained.
Through this forum and collaboration, Anindya Bakrie hopes that this forum and collaboration can make a major contribution in encouraging the presence of electric vehicles. Especially for sustainable mass transportation which is good for the environment.
"It also helps accelerate the Net Zero transition launched by the Indonesian government," said Anindya Bakrie.
