Eid Holiday, Prambanan and Borobodur Temple Extend Opening Time

VIVA – The Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko Temple Tourism Park (PT TWC) as the manager of the Prambanan and Borobudur Temple tours have prepared for receiving the tourists during the Eid al-Fitr 2022.
President Director of PT TWC, Edy Setijono, predicts that the Eid al-Fitr 2022 holiday will be different from two years ago. So, it requires careful preparation and synergy with various relevant stakeholders.
"We have prepare about the excellent safety-based services that don’t reduce the comfort of tourists, either in the form of increasing a number of facilities in the field, as well as synergizing with stakeholders in ensuring health protocols, including the smooth use of the Care Protect application," said Edy, Monday, April 25th, 2022.
Edy explained that during the Eid holiday 2022, his team will extend the opening time of tourist visits at Prambanan and Borobudur Temples. Edy explained for tourists, visit hours for Prambanan and Borobudur Temples will be served from 7 am until 5 pm. As for Ratu Boko Temple, the operating hours of tourist services are set at 8 am until 6 pm.
Edy said that his team have predicted an increase in the number of tourist visits during the Eid period 2022. This was supported by the Joint Decree of the Three Ministers stating the schedule for joint leave for Eid 2022 and Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijriah.
Not only that, Edy also said, the rapid recovery rate of the pandemic through a massive vaccination program was carried out, encouraging the acceleration of the recovery of the tourism world, especially for TWC destinations. Visit to PT TWC's destinations during the Eid period 2022 are predicted to increase compared to the 2021 Eid period.
"The increase in the number of tourists will begin to occur on April 27th, 2022 (D-4) to May 10th, 2022 (D + 8 Eid). Meanwhile, the service target for PT TWC destinations during the Eid period 2022 is the creation of tourist safety and comfort, one of which is through the implementation of strict health protocol, according to CHSE standards," said Edy.
"We ask for the support and cooperation of all parties to ensure that the comfort of visitors are always a top priority in this awaited moment. Hope TWC Borobudur, Prambanan and Kraton Ratu Boko can be present to treat the homesickness of tourists visiting our shared pride destinations," concluded Edy.
