Dia mengungkapkan penderitaan keluarganya selama proses peradilan dan pemenjaraan yang dialami ayahnya.

"Begitu lamanya, bertahun-tahun menahan rasa sakit. Namun bukan hanya kami. Banyak orang lain juga mengalami penganiayaan yang sama," kata Nurul.

"Saya berkomitmen untuk agenda reformasi. Saya tidak ingin orang lain jadi korban, termasuk Datuk Sri Najib Tun Razak," tambahnya.

"Setiap orang harus mendapat perlakukan yang sama di bawah hukum negara ini. Dan demi rasa keadilan, mereka diberikan hak yang sama di bawah matahari Malaysia," jelas Nurul Izza.
