Lirik MUKKBANG! Remix, Lagu Jay Park yang Dituding Lecehkan Islam

VIVA – Rapper Korea, Jay Park sedang menjadi bulan-bulanan warganet muslim usai lirik lagu MUKKBANG! Remix miliknya yang dirilis pada 2020 lalu menjadi sorotan. Lirik lagu tersebut dituding melecehkan agama Islam lantaran memuat kata 'Allah'.

Sontak saja warganet berbondong-bondong menyerbu Jay dan menuduhnya rasis, lantaran menyerang dan tidak menghargai agama Islam.

Jay Park memang langsung buka suara dan meminta maaf. Ia mengatakan bahwa liriknya itu tak bermaksud menyerang atau tak meghargai agama Islam.

“Akhinya aku paham aku telah menggunakan kata yang sakral dan tidak bisa digunakan secara bebas untuk lirik, dan bukan tempatku untuk memakai suatu kata yang sangat berarti bagi umat muslim dalam lirik rapku. Aku meminta maaf kepada semua penggemar muslimku,” tulis Jay di Twitter.

Dalam lagu tersebut, Jay melakukan kolaborasi bersama Lil Cherry, GOLDBUUDA, Dumbfoundead, serta BIBI. Lagu MUKKBANG! sendiri baru dirilis pada Desember 2020 lalu.
