Kadin Confident Prabowo-Gibran Can Eradicate Poverty

Jakarta, VIVA – The Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Novyan Bakrie, expressed optimism that under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Indonesia can eradicate poverty.
Bakrie is also confident that with Prabowo-Gibran at the duty, Indonesia's economy will experience rapid growth.
"We pray that Indonesia can progress further in the coming years under the leadership of Prabowo and Gibran. Hopefully, the country will grow even more and eradicate all forms of poverty," Bakrie said in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Monday (Dec 16).
In addition, Bakrie hopes that the 2025 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) celebrations will become a moment of togetherness and peace among religious communities.
He wishes for the spirit of religious tolerance to continue to flourish within Indonesian society.

"I think this reflects tolerance. But more than that, it is a celebration of unity within Kadin, emphasizing tranquility, blessings, togetherness, and peace, which are fitting for us to celebrate at the end of the year," Bakrie said.
He added, "For Christians, this is a significant moment, but even non-Christians can also feel the joy of Christmas. We pray for and promote solidarity with our friends who are less fortunate in Indonesia,"
Moreover, Bakrie admitted to feeling a strong sense of support, togetherness, and solemnity as the Christmas and New Year celebrations approach.
According to him, this support, unity, and reverence truly represent the essence of Kadin Indonesia itself.
"For progress and prosperity, I am grateful to have been invited to tonight’s event because I feel the support, unity, and solemnity, which truly embody the spirit of Kadin Indonesia," he said.
Bakrie also shared that he feels peace and love, in line with the spirit and meaning of Christmas.
He even took a moment to pray that as 2024 draws to a close, all members of Kadin Indonesia can gather with their families to express gratitude for what they have achieved.
