He made this statement during the opening of the National Work Meeting of the Indonesian Indigenous Entrepreneurs Association (Hippi) at The Tribrata Darmawangsa, South Jakarta.

Bakrie explained that there are several government programs under President Prabowo Subianto's leadership aimed at improving the welfare of the people.

"For example, free nutritious food, agricultural industrialization, food barns, energy transition, affordable housing, and others," he remarked.

Furthermore, Bakrie believes that the entrepreneurs under Kadin Indonesia and Hippi share the same focus: to partner with the government in achieving 8 percemt economic growth and eliminating poverty.

"Hippi is one of the most active Extraordinary Members (ALB). Together, we want to ensure that the 8 percent growth target is achieved, and that the target of 0 percent poverty is also reached. And, that's  very possible," Bakrie stated.

He further emphasized that Hippi's network, from small to large businesses, is crucial in advancing the economy of the people.

"We see that Hippi's network is extraordinary and very concrete. It can prioritize the economy of the people. Earlier, I met with various constituencies, from large, medium, small, and even start-up businesses. The discussions were interesting," he said.

Bakrie added, "Not only did we talk about how to connect entrepreneurs across regions, but we also discussed global political and economic developments, as everything is interconnected. But let's not forget, the ones who strengthen the economy are from the regions, from SMEs,"
