Jakarta, VIVA – A new education program has been launched in Jakarta aimed at shaping the character of the city's next generation.
This initiative focuses on instilling noble values and strong moral foundations in young people, preparing them to become responsible and ethical leaders.
The character education program includes an animated video titled “29 Noble Values,” which is designed to contribute positively to Jakarta’s younger generation.
The launch of this new character education program took place during the opening of the Jakarta LDII Regional Leadership Meeting (Rapimwil) at the Grand Ballroom Minhaajurrosyidin, East Jakarta.
Supriasto, Head of the Organizational, Cadre Development, and Membership Division (OKK) at the LDII Central Board, emphasized that character education ideally begins from early childhood.
“Character education starts with small habits, which can evolve into positive behaviors that shape good character, providing resilience in the face of global changes,” he stated.
During the same event, Pramono Anung highlighted that the principles of noble character can play an essential role in the education of future generations.
Anung also expressed the hope for a strong relationship between LDII and the government.
“Islamic organizations should not only be close to Kesbangpol but also to the local government. They should be strategic partners in religious outreach activities, creating positive impacts, especially for Jakarta residents,” Anung said.
