Loman hopes that automotive shows like IMOS can help sustain motorcycle sales figures.

“The hope is that IMOS can serve as a stimulus to maintain the momentum of motorcycle sales post-pandemic,” he added.

In the same event, Deputy Minister of Industry Faisol Riza praised the rise in motorcycle sales in Indonesia.

“We know the global economy is facing challenges. We must remain cautious, as this situation can impact people’s purchasing power,” Riza remarked.

He added, “Despite this, motorcycle sales in Indonesia have increased compared to last year. It’s remarkable. We thank the two-wheeler manufacturers,” he said.

He highlighted that motorcycles contribute foreign exchange to the country, which helps the government maintain economic growth.

“Two-wheelers have contributed significant foreign exchange to the country, supporting the government in maintaining economic growth. Hopefully, it will continue to grow next year,” stated the Deputy Minister.

He expressed hope that IMOS 2024 would positively contribute to the two-wheeler ecosystem.

As known, IMOS 2024 showcases various two-wheeler brands, divided into electric and conventional segments.
