Tangerang, VIVA – From October 9-12, 2024, the Central Executive Board (BPP) of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) and the Regional Executive Board (BPD) HIPMI Jaya partnered with the Ministry of Trade at the prestigious Trade Expo Indonesia 2024 (TEI 2024) held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang.

This major event is among Indonesia's largest trade exhibitions, aimed at enhancing exports and strengthening the position of Indonesian products in the global market.

A total of 24 tenants from HIPMI members participated, all carefully curated and prepared for export. These tenants represented a diverse range of provinces, showcasing the vast potential of Indonesia's 38 provinces.

Approximately 70% of the exhibited products focused on agriculture, featuring vanilla beans, coffee, spices, cocoa powder, and chocolate. The remaining 30% included various products such as frozen seafood, leathercraft, cigars, textiles, and more.

In addition to the product exhibition, the event offered opportunities for HIPMI Jaya tenants to engage in business matching sessions with several countries, including Poland, Pakistan, Japan, Sudan, the UAE, Malaysia, and several African nations.

This platform not only promotes products but also facilitates international business networking. A significant outcome was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between BPP HIPMI and PUMM Malaysia, indicating enhanced cooperation between entrepreneurs of both countries.

Ryan Haroen, Chairman of BPD HIPMI Jaya, emphasized the importance of TEI 2024, stating, “This event provides a great opportunity for HIPMI members to expand their business into international markets while also serving as an educational platform for those inexperienced in export markets.” He encouraged members to seize this opportunity to grow in the global export arena.
