Jakarta, VIVA – Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Novyan Bakrie held a meeting with Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman in Jakarta last Friday (Sept 20).
"This is part of Kadin Indonesia's rapid response efforts to discuss bilateral cooperation between Kadin and the government," Bakrie said in a statement.
The two discussed several sustainable economic policy strategies for Indonesia, particularly during the transition from Joko Widodo's administration to that of the President-elect Prabowo Subianto.
The continuity of economic policy is deemed crucial to align with the new economic strategy vision and mission under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto.
One of Bakrie's main focuses is to enhance agricultural land productivity, establishing food reserves at the village, regional, and national levels.
"Kadin, as a platform for the business world, will continue to synergize with the government's work programs," he remarked.
It is known that on Thursday (Sept 19), Anindya Bakrie also conducted a courtesy visit with two other ministers—Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan and Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita—at their respective ministry offices.
