Busworld 2024 in Indonesia Showcases Many Electric Bus

Jakarta – Indonesia has been elivened by various automotive exhibition, the latest is, Busworld Southeast Asia 2024 at JIEXpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. It will be held from May 15-17, 2024.
This event is a collaboration between Global Expo Management (GEM) and Busworld International to support the automotive industry in the commercial vehicle sector.
Baki Lee, Director of GEM Indonesia stated that this year the number of buses on display is greater and more varied with new technology and also more electric bus.
"This year, more electric buses than Buswold two years ago, a total of 8 units," he said in his speech on exhibition opening day, on Wednesday.
Lee further said, the implementation of Busworld Southeast Asia 2024 was focused on business to business (B2B) activities and government programs so it was not open to the public.
Meanwhile, it consists of 50-60 participating brands which enliven the exhibition. As for the target visitors at Buswold in 2024, Lee said it would be 10,000 people.
"Indeed, the target is for professional visitors, media or people with interests because this exhibition is B2B in nature so it is not for the public. Also, there will be an educational session for the Indonesian people to tell about the experiences of other countries using electric bus," he concluded.
