Moeldoko: Young People Need to Learn about State Governance

Jakarta – Chief of Presidential Staff (KSP) Moeldoko said that young people must learn the government legacy. In the midst of world challenges, policy innovation is an accelerator towards the vision of an Advanced Indonesia 2045. This was stated when opening the Indonesia Future Network (IFN) Future Policy event.

IFN Future Policy gathered 19 young policy figures from various sectors to discuss policy breakthroughs to succeed the leadership relay after the 2024 elections.

“The world has transformed towards the digital economy and green economy. IFN is an opportunity for future leaders to understand the government's legacy, so as to have a more complete perspective on how the country is managed and envision the right public policy transformation,” he said on Monday (May 6).

Moeldoko remarked that IFN as a platform to build strong cross-sector leadership networks, and create inclusive policies for national development.

Meanwhile, Cazadira F. Tamzil, Director of Public Policy at Pijar Foundation as IFN collaborator partner, added the importance of a collaborative ecosystem between youth and government for Indonesia 2045.

“The cooperation spirit of the Indonesian nation needs to be brought into the policy-making process. IFN Future Policy is expected to facilitate young practitioners to network, interact, and collaborate with the Government. There is no Indonesia 2045 without the voice and work of young policy practitioners,” Tamzil conveyed.

As information, IFN Future Policy is the second edition of IFN which is a multi-sector collaboration program between the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency Pijar Foundation, and Perkumpulan Warga Muda.
