Jokowi Inaugurates 5 Road Sections in West Nusa Tenggara

Nusa Tenggara – Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the implementation of the Regional Road Presidential Instruction in West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) on Thursday (May 2). It's known there are five road sections built and spread across four districts.
The Head of State remarked that the construction and improvement of roads in NTB totaled 40.6 kilometers in length.
"The construction and improvement of roads in West Nusa Tenggara Province last year built and improved 5 road sections in four districts, namely West Lombok, West Sumbawa, Sumbawa, and in Bima," said Jokowi in a statement on Thursday.
According to the President, the construction and improvement of the roads incurred a considerable budget. At least IDR 211 billion was spent on repairing the five road sections.
"Spending IDR 211 billion not a small budget,” Head of State said.
With the construction and improvement of these roads, President Jokowi hopes that connectivity in NTB Province will improve, especially in terms of the speed of logistics distribution.
"We hope that with these roads, the speed of logistics will improve, roads leading to productive areas, whether agricultural or plantation areas, all can be supported by good roads," President Jokowi concluded.
