The 2024 F1 Powerboat Uses International Standard Security

North Sumatra – A total of 1,138 combined personnel from the Indonesian National Army-Police are ready to provide security at the F1 Powerboat 2024 event at Lake Toba on March 2-3, 2024. This security operation will use international standards.
"The North Sumatra Regional Police in this security operation is implementing Operation Hopal Toba 2024," said Hadi Wahyudi, North Sumatra Regional Police Chief of Public Relations, Commissioner General.
Wahyudi explained that the security system deployed by the North Sumatra Regional Police collaborates with the Bukit Barisan Regional Command, Basarnas (National Search and Rescue Agency), local government, and Injourney, equipped with state-of-the-art security technology.
"More than 1,000 personnel are deployed to secure the F1 Powerboat 2024 race with International Standard Security," Wahyudi remarked.
Wahyudi revealed that security will be conducted at the F1H2O venue area at the Mulia Raja Napitupulu Pier, Balige, Toba Regency, as well as outside the venue, including preparations for parking areas for the public.
Wahyudi further stated that they ensure participants, spectators, and the public can enjoy the race in a safe and comfortable environment throughout this international-scale sports tourism event.
