President Jokowi Already Votes His Successor on Election Day

Jakarta – The Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) already used his voting rights in the 2024 General Election at Polling Station (TPS) 10, the yard of the State Administration Institute (LAN), Gambir, Central Jakarta on Wednesday (February 14).
The Head of State and First Lady Iriana Jokowi arrived at the location at 08:48 p.m. local time. The President wore a white shirt and the First Lady wore a sage green Kebaya.
Upon arrival, the Preisdent and the First Lady were asked to show their voting invitations by the officers. Then, they were given ballot papers.
One by one, they opened the ballot papers for President and Vice President, House of Representatives, Regional House of Representatives DKI Jakarta Province.
After that, President Jokowi and Iriana went straight to the voting booth to vote. Then, they put the ballots into the ballot box then dipped their little finger into the ink and continued by show it to the media journalist.
"Alhamdulillah, I and Mrs. Iriana Jokowi have voted for the representatives of DKI Jakarta," Jokowi remarked.
As information, more than 200 million voters in Indonesia are heading to more than 800,000 polling stations in the world’s third-largest democracy on Wednesday to elect President Joko Widodo’s successor, a new national House of Representatives and various local legislators.
Voters will get to pick from three presidential and Vice Presidential candidates: Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.
