- MacRumors
United States – The Apple Vision Pro headset goes on sale in the United States with prices starting at US$3,500 or around IDR55 million. This price is said too expensive for some people.
According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, the Vision Pro headphones are priced according to the technology and features offered. He emphasized that Vision Pro is the future technology available today.
"This is the technology of the future right now, in my opinion. We already have it. This device is loaded, we have 5,000 patents on this product," Cook said on Monday.
Cook stated that there are several types of buyers with different payments. But in fact, he said that the price that has been set is very appropriate for now.
"And, I hope there are those who pay a month, there are those who buy immediately. I've talked to a lot of people online, they will buy right away. But in the future I don't know what will happen. But we think we've priced it right for now," he said Vision Pro is currently only available in the United States.
This AR headset is expected to arrive in other regions by the end of 2024. But it is not yet clear in which countries Apple will market Vision Pro.
