More Chinese Provinces Ban All Civil Servants from Using iPhone

China – Four provinces in China ordered all civil servants not to use iPhones. This prohibition on the use of Apple technology also applies to companies that are affiliated with Regionally Owned Enterprise or collaborate with the Provincial Government.
The four provinces that prohibit civil servants from using iPhones include Zhejiang, Shandong, Liaoning, and Hebei. The last name is known as the place where the iPhone factory operates.
This policy is an effort by the Bamboo Curtain Country to reduce dependence on foreign technology and limit the flow of sensitive information abroad.
This means that China continues to encourage its people to use local technology. One effort is to extend the ban on iPhone use to provincial governments.
The issue of iPhone blocking has been surfacing for some time in China, especially when Apple launched the iPhone 15 series.

Smartphones or iPhone smartphones produced by Apple are known to dominate the premium cellphone market in China and are very popular among civil servants and private employees.
China contributes almost 19 percent of the revenue of the technology giant based in Cupertino, California, United States. Earlier, three ministries in China had asked all civil servants to no longer use iPhones.
Beijing has asked state-affiliated banks, government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and private companies to switch to using local software.
