Jakarta – The Italian premium vehicle manufacturer Ferrari has officially launched its latest car for the Indonesian market, named the Ferrari Roma Spider.
"Ferrari Roma Spider is officially launched for Indonesian consumers," said Nini Chandra as General Manager of Eurokars Prima Utama – Ferrari Brand Holder Agent in Indonesia.
Furthermore, Chandra said that the Ferrari Roma Spider is identical to the Soft Top which make it different from the Coupe generation.
"Ferarri itself has also not issued a vehicle with a soft top roof for a long time, since the last time in the F430. So this is the first time Ferrari has issued a soft top," Chandra added.
The soft top on the Ferarri Roma Spider looks very striking because it can be opened in just 13.5 seconds at speeds up to 60km/h. The soft top uses a special advanced canvas-like fabric.
The special fabric weave has been selected and developed in color combinations that highlight the twin souls of the car, one more elegant and the other more sporty.
In addition, several features have been designed to make the car extremely versatile including the size of the boot which has a hatch through the backrest of the rear seats for larger items to be carried.
The car also has a trunk with a larger capacity, thus increasing the versatility of the car.
This premium car also has standard wireless connectivity through Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Wi-Fi.
The Ferrari Roma Spider was designed by the Ferrari Styling Center led by Flavio Manzoni. The car aims to embrace the "La Nuova Dolce Vita" concept that pushes the boundaries for an elegant and carefree driving experience in the open air.
Engine-wise, the Ferrari Roma Spider has a 3,855 cc engine capacity that can produce 612 horsepower at 7,500 rpm or the equivalent of 161 cv/l, combined with the versatility of a low-end pick-up car, thanks to the torque that can reach 80% at 1,900 rpm.
The vehicle is claimed to be able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
The supercar features Variable Boost Management, a control software developed by Ferrari that can adjust torque delivery to match the selected gear.
This makes the engine pull more powerful as the engine revs increase.
Regarding the price, Eurokars Prima Utama does not reveal it.
