Dubai – VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas (VKTR) President Commissioner Anindya Novyan Bakrie was amazed when he saw the presence of the Formula E electric racing car owned by the Envision Racing team at the Conference of the Parties 28 (COP28) event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
"Met the @fiaformula electric racing car owned by @Envisionracing Team partner @Vktr_Indonesia in the lobby of the COP 28 meeting, in Dubai," Bakrie wrote in the official personal Instagram account @Anindyabakrie, which was quoted by VIVA English.
"This electric racing car when stripped down clearly shows the contents of so many electronic chips (e-chips)," he added.
The President Commissioner of VKTR expressed his admiration when he saw an electric racing car that had many chips in it.
"This is interesting, if we see in Indonesia it looks like ordinary Formula 1, it turns out that this (racing car) has a lot of chips," Bakrie remarked.
According to Anindya Bakrie, the number of chips used in each race car must vary depending on the design of each team.
"But what certainly consists of the Engine Control Unit (ECU) which is the brain, Battery Management System (BMS), Data Acquisition Systems, Telemetry Systems, Driver Interface Systems, Power Electronics, and others that all regulate the performance and safety of the car," Bakrie stated.
"Also energy efficiency which is one of the surefire moves to win Formula E races," he continued.
In general, Bakrie revealed that Formula One cars have more than 100 types of simple to complex chips, but Formula E has even more because of its electrical power management system.
Anindya Bakrie is not only amazed by the number of thousands of electronic chips, but also Envision Racing Team's Formula E electric race car has an amazing aerodynamic design.
"Every curve and detail is designed to maximize efficiency and speed. In Formula E racing, technology meets beauty," Bakrie said.
"This is the future of advanced, environmentally friendly and sustainable racing. Well done Envision Racing for being present at COP 28," he concluded.
