KOBI Chairman Ardiansyah Bakrie Plans to Create the Next Jeka Saragih

Jakarta – Chairman of the Indonesian Martial Arts Sports Committee (KOBI), Anindra Ardiansyah Bakrie appreciated Jeka Saragih's success in his UFC debut.
As known, Jeka Saragih earned a first-round knockout victory over Brazilian fighter Lucas Alexander at UFC Vegas 82 in Las Vegas, United States on last Sunday after beating Lucas Alexander.
Ardiansyah Bakrie said Saragih's success was a pride for the Indonesian people. And, this is the realization of KOBI's vision to create national pride by making Indonesia an Asian tiger in the MMA martial arts scene that is respected throughout the world.
"We feel this is a pride for Indonesia because KOBI's vision is to make the nation proud through MMA," Bakrie expressed.
"And now it has paid off, we can see for ourselves with Jeka in the highest MMA arena, namely UFC, and managed to become a champion. So we are all proud," he continued.
Bakrie emphasized that Saragih's success made KOBI even more eager to advance Indonesian martial arts in the international arena and create a new Jeka Saragih.
"It makes us want to work even harder to create a career path for fighters by connecting to outside promoters so that Indonesian fighters are not stuck in national competitions," Bakrie explained.
"So, Indonesian MMA athletes trust us. We want to continue to pave the way by facilitating them to go to international events. Come to KOBI and One Pride for a better career path," Bakrie concluded.
