Minister Indrawati Calls for War Against Poverty, Stupidity

Jakarta – In commemoration of Heroes' Day on November 10, this year the Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati called for a war against poverty and ignorance to achieve Indonesia's goals.
"Fighting poverty and stupidity is an effort that we continue to make to achieve the goals of Indonesia. How does it work? certaily by improving the quality of Indonesian Human Resources," wrote Minister Indrawati through her official Instagram account, on Friday.
The Minister remarked that not only through education, health is also significant, especially to reduce malnutrition in children.
"Healthy children are productibe and competitive future Human resources'. Good health must also be accompanied by good basic infrastructure to improve the quality of life of the people," Minister Indrawati continued.
She also mentioned: "In fighting poverty, the purchasing power of people especially poor and vulnerable groups certaily needs to be protected, especially in the midst of today's stressful global situation,"
"Therefore, the budget of education, health, infrastructure, and transparency are a priority of
State Budget (APBN)," the Minister added.
As we commemorate Heroes Day this time, let's continue to uplift the fighting spirit of the nation's founding heroes, "never give up in achieving the goals of the Indonesian nation, keep fighting against poverty and stupidity,"
"With the never ending spirit of struggle, we create a just, progressive, and prosperous Indonesia. Happy Heroes Day," Minister Indrawati concluded.
