Indonesia Ready to Send First Batch Humanitarian Aid to Palestine

Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has announced that Indonesia will send its first batch of humanitarian aid to Palestine this week.
"Indonesia will send humanitarian assistance, which will be adjusted to the demand and needs of the Palestinian people," the Head of State informed through a statement broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Presidential Secretariat, on Monday.
"The first batch will be sent this week," he emphasized.
President Jokowi also said: "The assistance has been sourced from the government, business players, and the Indonesian people,"
Moreover, the President remarked that Indonesia is very angry about the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza due to the Israel-Hamas conflict.
"Indonesia is very angry about the worsening situation in Gaza, especially the humanitarian situation,"
The Indonesian government is continuing to follow the developments in Gaza closely, President Jokowi emphasized.
The Head of State expressed Indonesia's firm stance on strongly condemning random attacks on civilians and public facilities in Gaza.
"Violence must stop, ceasefire must continue to be pursued, humanitarian assistance must continue to be encouraged," the President stated.
