"To increase the company's working capital capacity," Setijono said.
He explained that this cooperation is an extraordinary beginning between two entities that share the same vision, namely realizing transportation electrification efforts in Indonesia.
"This is a tangible manifestation of BCA's commitment as one of the largest private banks in Indonesia, in contributing to the achievement of Net Zero Emission Indonesia by 2060," he remarked.
He explained that more and more business institutions are interested in switching to the use of electric vehicle (EVs), both for various commercial purposes and employee transportation.
The funds obtained from BCA will help VKTR increase its working capital, enabling the Company to fulfill the demand.
Currently, VKTR has started assembling commercial electric vehicle in Magelang, but the capacity is still limited. With the additional working capital from BCA, VKTR plans to increase its assembly and sales capacity.
