In addition, Teuku Faizasyah also emphasized that currently Indonesia has conducted a campaign with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Human Rights Council (HAM), related to the acts of intolerance.

"On the other hand, we are campaigning together with OIC countries and even the Human Rights Council. This means that we make sure this issue gets more attention than usual," Faizasyah explained.

He also stated that the Quran-burning was not right attitude to express freedom of speech.

Nevertheless, the Indonesian Foreign Ministry still ensures that it will hold talks with the Sweden and Denmark parties, but in the bilateral realm.

"Things like this cannot be connoted as a matter of freedom of expression, but the implications are very large," he said.
