Manchester City Defeats Bayern Munich in Tokyo

Tokyo – Manchester City won their pre-season friendly in Japan by 2-1 at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo on Friday. In the match, Manchester City put Erling Haaland on the bench. However, the Citizens were able to perform dominant.
Manchester City managed to get the first score in the 21st minute, with McAtee breaking into Bayern Munich's goal. He utilized the rebound ball from Julian Alvarez's kick.
Haaland finally entered in the second half. The Norwegian international replaced Julian Alvarez in the 46th minute.
Bayern Munich was able to equalize in the 86th minute. The goal was scored by Mathys Tel.
However, five minutes later, Manchester City scored the winning goal through Aymeric Laporte's shot in the 86th minute utilizing an assist from Phil Foden.
Furthermore, Bayern Munich is continuing its pre-season tour in Japan and is ready to face Kawasaki Frontale on July 29, 2023.
Meanwhile, Manchester City will continue their trip to South Korea. The Champions League champions will meet Atletico Madrid at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
