8 Indonesian Representative Teams Join Asia Cross Country Rally 2023

Jakarta – The Asia Cross Country Rally or known as AXCR is an FIA-certified Cross-country rally competition held annually in Southeast Asia since 1996. This route is designed to cover many types of terrain like jungles, swamps river-crossings, and also deserts.
For the 2023 Asia Cross Country Rally will be held on August 13 to 19, 2023, in Thailand ahead of Laos with 2,000 Kilometers distance.
Indonesia is one of the countries that will participate in this event, it is known that 8 team representatives will take part in the 2023 AXCR competition. This was conveyed by Julian Johan a Youtuber and also one of Indonesia's representatives in this rally event.
"I am happy to announce that I will participate in the 2023 Asia Cross Country Rally. And, there will be 8 Indonesian representative teams as well," Johan said at Glamour Auto Boutique, Jakarta on Tuesday.
He also stated that on August 17, the Indonesian representatives will gather and celebrate Independence Day together by singing the Indonesian national anthem.
"Later on August 17, Indonesian representatives will gather to celebrate Independence Day together, after that we will return to our respective teams," he stated.
"My goal in joining the AXCR 2023 event is to achieve one of my dreams. Besides that, I also want to make Indonesia proud. The other Indonesian representative teams must also have the same thoughts," he added.
Julian Johan will be accompanied by co-driver Recky Resanto with a Land Cruiser car that they have modified to suit the highway route track at the AXCR 2023 event.
Furthermore, regarding the class that Julian Johan will participate in at the Asia Cross Country Rally 2023 event, he will fight with several participants from the Asian Region, in the T1G class which is a prestigious battle for gasoline-engined cars with a 4x4 drive system.
Julian Johan and Recky Resanto's participation in the Asia Cross Country Rally 2023 is also inseparable from the role and support of several parties. Some of the support is provided by GHP Law Firm, BFGoodrich, and Motul.
