Jakarta – The Ferrari Classiche exhibition arrived in Indonesia on Thursday, featuring classic cars from the 70s. The exhibition is dedicated to Ferrari classic cars.

As information, Ferrari Classiche was established by the Ferrari factory in Italy specifically to provide restoration and maintenance certificates of authenticity for vehicles of historic interest to owners of classic Ferraris.

Then, in addition to the exhibition, Eurokars Prima Utama - Ferrari's brand holding agent in Indonesia - has also set up a certification program for all Ferrari classic cars in Indonesia, including road cars, sports cars, and prototype cars, which are more than 20 years old.

This official certification will be issued by the Ferrari Classic department in Maranello, after the car has met several requirements set by Ferrari.

General Manager of Eurokars Prima Utama, Nini Chandra said that the authenticity and authenticity of every part used is one of the important aspects in the certification process.

"Every Ferrari ever made is iconic. Therefore, through this exhibition we introduce a special Ferrari Classiche Certification program, where we can ensure that the vintage Ferrari owned by our customers has the optimal and original condition as when the car was produced," Chandra said as quoted through an official statement, during the Ferrari Classiche Exhibition at Ferrari Central Showroom, Central Jakarta, on Thursday.

All data on Ferrari cars ever produced in Maranello, including the personalization configuration when the car was first ordered, is neatly recorded in Ferrari's data storage archive.

This allows Ferrari to ensure that customer-owned cars are true to their original design when they are more than 20 years old and are restored at Ferrari Classiche.

Visitors to the Ferrari Classiche exhibition can also see the fascinating maintenance and restoration process carried out at the Ferrari Classiche workshop in Maranello.

The Ferrari Classiche exhibition featured the Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina and the Dino 308 GT4. The Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 is a coupé with a 2+2 seating configuration that was first introduced in 1973 at the Paris Motor Show.

Designed in collaboration with Bertone, the car was phenomenal at the time of its launch, as it was the first Ferrari to use a 2,927 cc V8 engine in the rear that could produce 255hp.

The Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina was a two-seater configuration car produced between 1975-1977, a collaboration with Pininfarina designed by Scaglietti.

As the name implies, the car uses
fiberglass on the car body, except for the engine cover which uses aluminum.

This helped to lighten the weight of the vehicle so the overall weight was only 1,100 kg. The car uses the same engine as the Ferrari Dino 308 GT4.

There are less than 1,000 units of the Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina ever produced in the world, making this Ferrari a very rare and special car.
