"We did target three gold medals, and we got them. But there are silver and bronze medals that are not as predicted. We will evaluate and obviously have to increase the flying hours of young athletes," said Indonesian Swimming National Team Coach Albert C. Susanto.

The gold medal won by Indonesia at the Cambodia SEA Games came from senior swimmer I Gede Siman Sudartawa in the men's 50-meter backstroke with a record time of 25.16 seconds.

Masniari Wolf also successfully defended gold in the 50-meter backstroke with a time of 28.89 seconds and also managed to break the SEA Games record of Tao Li from Singapore with 28.90 seconds at the XXVIII SEA Games 2015 Singapore.

Finally, the new swimmer Felix Viktor Iberle dropped in the men's 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 27.70 seconds.

Iberle also broke the SEA Games record in the qualifying session with 27.56 seconds shifting Singapore's Chien Yin Lionel Kho's record time of 28.15 seconds when competing at the SEA Games XXX/2019 in the Philippines.

While for silver through Farrel Armandio Tangkas who competes in the 100-meter backstroke.

Then, bronze from the 4x100 meter relay number dressing style (Farrel Armandio Tangkas, Muhammad Dwiky Raharjo, Joe Aditya Wijaya Kurniawan, Erick Ahmad Fathonidan), Angel Gabriella Yus who dropped in the women's 100-meter backstroke, and Muhammad Dwiky Raharjo in the men's 50-meter breaststroke.

The achievement in Cambodia is better than the results of the 2021 SEA Games which rolled in Vietnam last year with two gold, three silver, and ten bronze medals.
