Three Parks in Jakarta Close on First Day of 2023 Eid al-Fitr

VIVA – The Jakarta Provincial Government will temporarily close three parks on the first day of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri, as reported from the Instagram account @dkijakarta. 

The three parks are Tebet Eco Park, Ragunan Wildlife Park, and Banteng Field, “On the first day of Idul Fitri, these three parks will not operate," as quoted from Instagram @dkijakarta, on Friday. 

As information, these three locations will continue operations on H+1 Eid al-Fitr. 

There are specified operating hours. Banteng Field Park is open from 6 am to 8 pm in Indonesian Time, Ragunan Wildlife Park from 7 am to 4 pm in Indonesian Time, and Tebet Eco Park from 6 am to 6 pm in Indonesian Time. 

For people who will visit Tebet Eco Park, they can register online through the JAKI application, the park's official link, and for people who want to visit Ragunan, they can buy tickets online or offline. 

Then, motorcycle/car parking pockets are available around Tebet Eco Park, namely at Sarana Jaya, Graha Pratama Building, Wisma Pede Building, SPBU MT Haryono 31-128, and SMPN 37 (only on weekends). Meanwhile, bicycle parking is available within the park area.

Jakarta Government also urged public who will visit tourist attractions to use public transportation to avoid vehicle accumulation at the location. Also to participate in maintaining cleanliness by disposing of garbage in its place, not damaging/crossing out existing facilities, and taking responsibility in maintaining tourist attractions properly.
