VIVA – LCR Honda racer, Alex Rins successfully becomes the winner of MotoGP Americas. He defeated Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Ducati) and Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) – who also made it to the podium.
In the race that took place at Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Rins recorded a time of 41 minutes 14.649 seconds. He achieved 3.498 seconds ahead of Luca Marini.
Then, for the second time in a row, defending champion Francesco Bagnaia had to fall. He had a similar mistake in the Argentine MotoGP. If before, he could continue the race, but this time Pecco failed to finish.
Three crashes then occurred in a short time. Starting with Joan Mir, then followed by Brad Binder and Takaaki Nakagami.
Marini showed incredible speed. With eight laps to go, he caught Fabio Quartararo and finished second.
