The Super Hercules Aircraft Arrives at Indonesian Air Force Base

VIVA – The C-130 J-30 Super Hercules aircraft made by United States manufacturer Lockheed Martin arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, East Jakarta, on Monday.
The aircraft's arrival was welcomed by Deputy Chief of the Air Force Staff, Vice Marshal Agustinus Gustaf Brugman, and Commander of the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Colonel Adrian P. Damanik.
"Alhamdulillah, the first C-130J Super Hercules aircraft that will strengthen the Indonesian Air Force has arrived in Indonesia," Wakasau Air Marshal Agustinus Gustaf Brugman said at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta on Monday.
Moreover, the C-130 J-30 Super Hercules A-1339 Air Force aircraft has traveled for 34 hours, starting on February 28 to March 6, 2023, with the route Marietta - Monterey - Honolulu - Kwajalein - Guam - Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta, Brugman said.
The Super Hercules aircraft arrived at around 1.05 pm local time at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base. The arrival of the C-130 J-30 Super Hercules transport-type military aircraft with tail number A-1339 was greeted with the tradition of a water salute as a welcome greeting.
As information, the C-130 J-30 Super Hercules A-1339 aircraft is the first of 5 units ordered by the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, for the Indonesian Air Force. Furthermore, it will gradually arrive in the country until early 2024. The plan is to strengthen Air Squadron 31, Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base.
The US-made C-130J-30 Super Hercules aircraft is more sophisticated than other C-130 Hercules aircraft. This aircraft has a more sophisticated flight station and a fully integrated digital avionics system. Capable of carrying 20 tons of cargo. The large aircraft space can carry 8 pallets or 97 stretchers, 128 combat troops, and 92 paratroopers.
Not only that, but the aircraft is also equipped with several features, including improved fuel protection aspects, as well as an improved cargo handling system.
