Try to Find the Umbrella in This Optical Illusion
- Times of India
VIVA – Optical Illusion is an image or picture that people perceive differently than they are. An optical illusion happens when our eyes send information to our brains that trick us into perceiving something that does not match reality. Now, let’s find the umbrella in this image.
Usually, in a crowded place, we mostly focus on people, their attire, and the movement that happens all around. It’s quite impossible to keep a track of things, mostly the stationary ones because of the life around us.
Maybe this is the reason why many of us tend to forget things in public places. We keep them in a safe corner, but while leaving we are so occupied with things all around us. Similarly in this image, there is one umbrella hidden somewhere between the crowd in the restaurant.
Now, let us try to find the umbrella. Where can one possibly keep the umbrella? Umbrella has a pointed base or a conical base which means the owner must have put it near the wall.
To find the umbrella, you need to recall the basic structure of the accessory and recreate the way one usually puts it down.
Usually, the umbrella is hung upside down. This is done for several reasons: The first reason is that it will drain out the water from the top of the umbrella and keep it dry. The second reason is the handle makes it easier to hang it instead of putting it on the ground where there are chances it might fall and get soiled due to its narrow base.
Now that we have studied the basic structure of the umbrella, let's go back to the umbrella hunt.
We see a beautiful railing by the window side that can hold the umbrella. To the left side of the bar, we can see the black color umbrella hanging! The owner might have missed it because it looks so similar to the railing and also because it is partially covered by the man standing there.
