"By saying Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this afternoon I inaugurate the VVIP Building of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport." President Joko Widodo remarked.

The revitalization of the terminal, which was built in approximately 3.5 months, is the result of collaboration between the Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of PUPR, Ministry of BUMN, Ministry of Finance, architects from Bali, and other related parties.

The scope of work for the revitalization of the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport VVIP terminal includes beautification of the VVIP terminal (existing); construction of the VVIP terminal (new); landscape arrangement and service road (new); and reallocation of cargo EMPU and other buildings.

Ngurah Rai Airport's VVIP Terminal has a new face with a modern building design but still has a traditional Balinese touch. The building and interior design of the airport were inspired by a Balinese building called Wantilan. That is a building that functions as a meeting place for Balinese traditional communities.

The Ministry of Transportation has also completed the construction of three ports in Bali Province which will further improve the quality of transportation services and increase inter-island connectivity.

Before it was built, this port was still a traditional port and did not have supporting facilities such as a dock, so tourists who wanted to board the ship had to enter the water on the beach.

After being built, these three ports have a new face, are more comfortable, have dock facilities and other facilities, and meet safety aspects.

The presence of this port is expected to further increase convenience for people who travel, vacation, or local people who want to worship. As well as being able to support the tourism sector in Bali, and will increase the economic stretch of the people in Bali and its surroundings.
