All parts of Indonesia except Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Bengkulu could see the peak of the total lunar eclipse at 6 PM last night. Well, in this phenomenon, people can watch with their eyes, without special tools, unlike solar eclipses that use filters.

According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency or BMKG, the total lunar eclipse phase starts at 3 PM in Western Indonesian Time, 4 PM in Central Indonesian Time until 8.57 PM in Western Indonesian Time or 9.57 PM in Central Indonesian time. 

A lunar eclipse is a normal event, where there is a phenomenon of the Sun, Moon, and Earth being on a parallel path.

That way, the Moon enters the Earth's umbra which results in the peak of the eclipse and the round shape is seen perfectly, with the nature of the Moon giving off bright light from normal light.

Another explanation says a Lunar eclipse is a type of eclipse that occurs when part or all of the moon's cross-section is covered by the earth's shadow. This event occurs when the earth is between the sun and the moon, on the same straight line. As a result, sunlight cannot reach the moon because it is blocked by the earth.
