Hylo Open 2022: Five Indonesian Representatives in Quarterfinals

VIVA – Indonesia leaves five representatives to play in the quarter-finals of the Hylo Open 2022 in Saarlandhalle Saarbrucken, Germany, on November 4, 2022. It is known that five Indonesian representatives are from the women's singles, men's singles, and mixed doubles sectors.
In the men's singles number, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting will play against Singapore's representative, Loh Kean Yew. Meanwhile, Jonatan Christie will play against the representatives from India, Srikanth Kidambi.
Then in the mixed doubles sector, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari are ready to play in the quarterfinals against the Danish pair, Mathias Thyrri/Amalie Magelund.
Previously, Rinov/Pitha managed to beat French representatives, Lucas Corvee/Sharone Bauer with a score of 23-21 and 21-11. Based on BWF records on its official website, seventh seed Rinov/Mentari bagged a 1-0 advantage through victory in the last 32 of the Malaysia Open 2022.
Other Indonesian mixed doubles, namely Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati. This Indonesian pair managed to beat the French representatives, William Villeger/Anne Tran with a score of 21-11, 21-10. Next, Rehan/Lisa will face the representative from Denmark, Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Boje.
The one and only, Indonesian women's singles player to play in the quarter-finals of the Hylo Open 2022, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung will compete with Malvika Bansod, a representative from India. Previously, she defeated Pornpawee Chochuwong of Thailand with a score of 21-14, 20-22, and 22-20.
